Real Honest Tallow was founded by two Iowa sisters, Courtney and Kaleigh, who believe skincare should be simple, honest, and effective.
Growing up in southwest Iowa, we were raised with small-town values, hardworking parents, and an appreciation for keeping things simple. We learned early on that some of the best things in life don't need to be complicated—and we believe skincare is no different.
As women navigating busy lives, careers, family responsibilities, and the changing needs of our skin, we found ourselves searching for products that actually worked without a long list of ingredients we couldn't pronounce. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion for tallow-based skincare and the incredible benefits it can provide.
Today, every jar of Real Honest Tallow is handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully selected ingredients designed to nourish, hydrate, and support healthy skin. We believe in quality over quantity, simplicity over trends, and creating products we are proud to use on our own families.
